F. Kroeber, New York, "Congress" walnut 8 day time and strike mantel clock, c1880
CONDITION:
this clock is in very nice restored condition with three decorative metal pieces applied to the refinished wood. The single barrel pendulum and signed beat scale are in original condition, the paper dial and patterned glass are newer. The paper label on the back indicates that the clock was marketed by the U.S. Clock Co, Henry Terhune & Son. The movement ticks and strikes on a polished brass bell. Ht 24"
